A Whimsical Meeting of Art and Life
Salutations! :)
I am a Brisbane based, quirky, emerging artist who loves vibrant colour and imagination. I have been painting for about 6 years - since a chance encounter with paint - and am looking to become a familiar name around town with my work. I have completed several commissions for clients as well as painting for my own liesure, and ultimately aim to inspire happiness in others who view my work. I enjoy twilight walks to the nearby park, genuine smiles, the feel of autumn leaves and the sound of the wind by the ocean.

Art Theft
Hi everyone,
I've decided to take down my images for a while until I can properly watermark them. Unfortunately, art thieves think that they can take my work without crediting me or acknowledging me as the artist, so until then, I don't feel comfortable having myimages up whilst I am working to resolve this issue. I am sure you can understand.

The Voyage
It’s been quite a while since I last updated properly, due to a couple of reasons. Uni assignments and exams are building, and sadly I’ve had not much time to create many artworks of late. Secondly, what time I have had has been spent completing the illustrations for ‘The Voyage‘ - the debut poetry chapbook, by Brisbane poet Zenobia Frost - which has been a delightfully imaginative project.

I will be changing my alias to Faelenath, as this is the name I am most used to and use on other websites / blogs. :) Almarea is sadly a name I have grown distant from. :(
