About me
I'm a full-time wildlife artist and illustrator since 2001. Formerly I've been workign exclusively in acrilics, but a few years ago I changed to watercolours ( for working in the field, looser paintings, illustration), gouache (for illustration) and oils (for bigger, more complex paintings).
I'm working mainly for publishers, NGOs, the Ministry for the Environment and national parks.
In 2009 I won the 'Birdwatch Artist of the Year' prize in the UK with my shorebird oil painting entitled 'We are all young'. This painting has been slected in the Birds in Art exhibition of the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum.
